The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon -- first 25 pages

The Shadow of the Wind, by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, is an amazing novel that places the reader in a sort of acid trip as different characters are introduced and their memories are displayed and the memories of someone else are shown within the memory of the first minor character. The protagonist's search for information on the unknown author, Julian Carax, and the few books he wrote.

Judging from this first section, do you think that when the protagonist, Daniel, will end up with the blind woman who is about twice his age -- from when they first met-- ?

Is it possible that Barcelo is the one who is trying to burn all of Julian Carax's books?

lol..ok u kinda lost me there.. with the memories part..but i got u..

well..first i hav 2 start off by sayin that this book actually seems enjoyable..nothing like wat i expected..first 25 pages and i want 2 know about this mystery man..Julian Carax..what could hav kept him from hiding his work..its just weird..

now goin 2 ur questions..i kinda had the same 2 questions running through my mind when i was reading the book..about Daniel and Clara..they seem to hav a coonection..a special one..i think its unpredicatble to know if something will really happen between them since we hav 2 take in count the age gap..but u never know..Barcelo?..he seems like your typical book worm..but there is something about him..maybe his interest in buying Daniel's book may hav something 2 do the mystery behind Carax..
